Remko de Landmeter started to specialize in world music after his classical flute studies at the conservatory. He studied bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) in India and developed a versatile way of playing on different flutes in which improvisation and world music have been given an important place.
He gives concerts worldwide and has experience with theater and plays with
international and national artists. In the Netherlands he can be heard with Claudia de Breij, Ge Reinders and Willeke Alberti, among others.
He also works as a studio musician for film music and TV documentaries and can be heard on more than 40 CDs.
