In 1995 Reinout De Geest was born in the small town of Linkeroever, Antwerp (BE).
At the age of fourteen, Reinout started to photograph, film and edit news reports for local news websites. After doing this for over two years, he decided to make the step to national media and started working for a news agency. During his time at the agency he delivered videos for among others NOS, RTL Nederland, SBS Broadcasting and several photos to De Telegraaf, a Dutch national newspaper.
In 2011 Reinout went to Zoomvliet College to study Adio Visual Production. Although the college didn't educate in DSLR filming, Reinout started more and more assignments with his Canon DSLR.
