about me
Lavie van Ingen Schimanski is a Dutch actress & (creator) with a mixed background.
She dances classical ballet 5-14 and has been active in youth theater since she was eleven. She took drama classes during both primary and secondary school. At the age of seventeen she played the (main) role of Margo in the IKON drama series 'Barst' directed by Robert Baars, making her debut on television.

In 2001 she graduated from the three-year acting training course 'Het Collectief' led by Cliff Sutton, Mara Otten and Lucas Borkel. After graduating, she performed in various productions with the Utrecht company 'Tweelicht' and as a guest actress with the Hague theater company NoordVolk. Both before and after her graduation, she played various roles for television, including Westenwind, Verborgen Verhalen, Nachtegaal and Sons. In 2020 in the drama series Over Water II, Undercover IM, Red Light. For the film 'Prince of Hearts' which was selected by the Dutch Film Festival 2020, and won a prize at the Geelong Pride Film Festival Australia.
